Well, I don't see if Syd is linking up today, so since I've been kinda sorta laxadaisically planning these in my head all week, here are my Awkward and Awesomes:
Awkward:
-Walking into the grocery store on a beautiful evening and a random guy screaming at the top of his lungs a four letter expletive that rhymes with "duck". (I'll let you narrow it down.) After my ears were entirely offended, I gave him an, "umm, whats your problem look." He proceeded to give me an, "I will eat you then spit your head out," look, which, entirely scared me. So, I went on my merrily way to shop for zucchini, lemons and happiness.
-A house with no front door. Seriously, this is SO perplexing.
-Getting butt dialed. Of said butt dialer peeing. There was also a zipper and a flush involved. This was left entirely on voice mail. No, I will not use it for blackmail purposes. Maybe. Probably not. Ok, I won't. Your secret is safe with me. (Que evil laugh - Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha.)
Awesome:
-Making new friends. And not just new girl friends, but new couple friends. MARRIED couple friends.
-Yogurt dates with old friends.
-Kickboxing. My legs have never been so sore. Ohh and it hurts so good!!
-Blasting Avril Lavigne's song, "Smile" on repeat in my car with the windows rolled down. It reminds me of when I was 17 and I blasted her entire first album "Let Go," to and from my first real job as a lifeguard/swim teacher all summer long. I guess some things never change.
-This polka dot shirt I swapped with Lynzy from Sparkling Footsteps. You can see her take on it here.
-Those iced animal cracker cookies. Ohmigosh I crave those things. I blame Husband.
-And! The fact that tomorrow is Friday. Hello weekend! Second week of June, I owned you.

Ok, so maybe that's a little dramatic, but they DO make me want to go work out really really hard at the gym so that I, too, may one day have legs like those.
I probably won't though (go work out). Oh well.
