Why not have both? :) I love following blogs that have great photos and outfits, but to be honest, what I LOVE even more is getting to know the author. You should TOTALLY be vulnerable on your blog and allow your readers to read about it. I think that's why MOST of us come back...because it's a way to connect and relate on a deeper level. You can incorporate it into your outfit posts and it will all work out great :) Trust me, I tune in because you are stunning but also because I want to know about your day and the little happenings in your life. That's my 2 cents...keep the change :)

I've been feeling the same way lately. Sometimes I feel like I want my blog to fit perfectly into a certain category or theme, but then I remember it's my blog and I can do whatever I want. I love looking at fashion and fun glittery things, but I think we are all way deeper than that and sometimes can benefit from hearing other people's struggles, joys, and encouragements! Do whatever's in your heart! xoxo

I think that combining topics is a great way to let us see your beautiful style and know a little about you :) Whatever you want to write about, write about! Everyone loves fashion, but we all have personal issues that we write about - sometimes they can be a beautiful combination.

You know, I feel the same inner debate all the time when I'm writing about my life in my blog. I just wrote a really long post about some of the struggles I had teaching this term (I'm a literature PhD student and instructor) and then realized, right before I hit publish, that I was dancing awfully close to the line both on my own personal sharing limits and on federal laws that restrict what I can and cannot say about my students. It's hard to juggle those things and I think you have every right to compartmentalize what you share, with whom, and were. I know your readers would be happy to see whatever you brought us, but you keep doing whatever feels best and most honest to what you need. :)
Write about what you want to write about! Stay true to yourself and dont feel pressured to write about something that you feel others want you to write about! Sure everyone loves outfit posts but it's what makes your blog unique that will make them come back! Post those posts :) I'd love to read them!

I say, write about it all! I started my blog as outfits only, then my life started trickling in... its not too bad, and I feel like I always have advice or an opinion to draw from if I have questions or doubts about anything from "which belt?" to "where is my life going?"

I think you should write about anything your heart chooses. Yes your blog is a style blog, but you are human and we all have issues we just want to let out...whether happy or sad. Share whatever is on your mind, no matter the topics. We all love your blog. Style or personal :)

i'm new to the blog, and i'm loving what i'm reading and seeing. gorgeous style. however, i don't think that any blog should stick to its theme. especially when real life is happening. i've found that being real on my blog brings out the best in people. i'm always amazed by the comments that people leave (in a totally good way) and am in awe of how people seem to know exactly what to say. :)

Maybe think about starting a second, more private/personal blog? I started off with my beauty/budget blog &YouTube channel and wanted a little something on the side to keep as my personal blog.. I ended up completely abandoning my beauty blog for my personal one and loving every second of it.

I think you should write about whatever you want. Who says a "fashion" blog must be a "fashion" blog all the time? It's your blog - do what you like. We will always read. Well I do - don't comment much, but I'm here reading. :)
I just came across your blog via Lynzy's and I'm really enjoying it!! You are gorgeous and have wonderful style!!!
As for what to post about, I think that, if you so desire, you should definitely post things other than fashion. A "Style Blog" surely can encompass what you're wearing and trends that you like, etc, etc, but style absolutely transcends mere fashion. I like to classify my blog as a lifeSTYLE blog, and while fashion is part of that, it surely isn't everything.

What a gorgeous outfit! I especially love your top. I have always struggled with that, too. Wanting to share my style sense, but also talk about "real life." I tend to use pictures of my outfits as a way to break up the text of my post, which is typically on any old random subject that popped in my head that day and I wanted to share.
Love that outfit ! Just perfect ! As for the posts, as long as it's honest and real (and I,m shure it will be) I'm in !
