Don't Want to Miss a Thing

Poncho: c/o Windsor Store; Top: BCBG; Jeans: JBrand; Boots: Vince Camutto; Bag (Similar): Tory Burch; Hat: H&M
Well 2011 came and went as if living was going out of style.  Which hello, it's not.  But do you know what apparently is in style?  The Apocalypse.  {Dun dun DUN!!!!}  2012 has garnered up quite the reputation.  Is it just me, or is it like, every time I turn on the television, there is another show warning that the end is near.  {I blame Husband for only watching the Science channel.}  Epidemic or plague, flood or killer tsunami, solar flare or super volcano.  The cataclysmic list of events goes on and on and on.  Yet, the experts warning us have just as many answers as a Magic Eight Ball.  How will it end?  It is decidedly so.  When will it end?  Cannot predict now.  What's the probability for it occurring?  Signs point to yes.  Why do we need to know this?  Concentrate and ask again.  Ugh.  Maybe the end is near.  Maybe it's not.  But, if worse comes to worse, let's hope Ben Affleck and Bruce Willis can save us so we don't miss a thing.

Again, please don't take me seriously.

I think its hilarious because yesterday at work I tried to pull up this site and it said, "blocked, categorized as cult". I busted out laughing. Your blog is a "cult" and now your talking about the world ending.. Who cares...I will still read it until, Ben comes to rescue me, then I am ditching you like a hot potato. Happy New Year!

Hahaha! I'm not really scared about it, more intrigued. And will have a good laugh when I wake up December 22 to find all is safe and sound. :)

My fiance only watches the science or history or Nat Geo channels too and I TOTALLY know what you mean. And this whole thing freaks me out. Can I just be left in the dark about this?

What does not freak me out, though, is your gorgeous poncho. Love these colors on you as well!

Cute outfit and cute post. As for 'the end'...talk to some accredited scientists instead of the bottom feeders dredged up by the history channel and they will put all your fears to rest. Keep in mind, these are the same networks that show "Ghost Hunters International" and the like. That being said, the shows are kind of fun to watch (tee, hee).

Armaggeddon. Good golly, that film sure knows how to pull at there those heart strings. We don't have so much of the 2012 doom lurking around these parts but I sure do love that outfit. You look cute as.

You ended the post with "so we don't miss a thing." after talking about the movie Armageddon, which starred Liv Tyler, who is Steven Tyler's daughter, who fronts Aerosmith which sang "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing."
Just made that connection and thought it was pretty cute :)
Love the outfit btw!! :)
