Paris is second to none in the patisserie/boulangerie departments. I'm not over exaggerating when I say this, but that the croissant pictured here, is the world's best croissant. It literally melts in your mouth. I ate one every single morning when I woke up. Since then, I have yet to eat a croissant that could possibly compare. And let's not forget to mention, the macaroons. Those little french cookies are.heaven.in.your.mouth. to die for.On this particular morning - our last morning in Paris - we were heading to the Notre Dame Cathedral. It was gloomy out, and the streets were being sprinkled with rain. It's so easy to take a turn in Paris, and get lost somewhere new. While we were walking, we stumbled upon this amazing outdoor market in the Latin Quarter, with fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, pastas, sweets, breads, and wines. You name, it they had it. I could only imagine living in Paris, walking out my front door, eating the world's best croissant, picking out colorful macaroons, and shopping for dinner.
