Travel Style with Lynzy From Sparkling Footsteps

Today is the final guest blogger of the travel series, and it happens to be Miss Lynzy from Sparkling Footsteps, who I adore! Here's what she has to say her summer style!

Hi Everyone!! My name is Lynzy and I am the face behind the personal style blog, Sparkling Footsteps (http://www.sparklingfootsteps.com/). I was thrilled when Katie approached me to guest post about my travel style. I recently traveled to Austin, TX with my fiance in May and absolutely LOVED it. The vibe of the people there was so laid back and carefree. My style followed the same vibe- I packed a lot of sundresses and shorts/tanks. I always make sure to pack things that can be interchangeable with my outfits to maximize my suitcase space.
Here are a few of my travel style tips:
  1. Bring one pair of comfy flats, one pair of fancier shoes for dinner/events, and one pair of sneakers for exploring
  2. Remember to pack an umbrella (I always forget to do this!)
  3. Place all of your outfits next to each other- can you interchange them from day to night outfits. Interchanging your outfits will save you a ton of room in your suitcase!
  4. Depending on where you are traveling to - you should bring at least one jacket in case the nights are breezy- I am always cold and always reaching for a sweater or jacket at night!
  5. I always bring one black purse and one purse that would go with warmer brown tones.
  6. Accessorizing is your best friend when it comes to traveling. Jewelry, hair bands, etc  will instantly spruce up any outfit.
Well, that's it! I would love to hear your travel style tips! Where have you traveled this year? What did you pack?

thanks for the tips! I am going to Bozeman, Montana at the end of this month so these will definitely help me when packing! totally agree about mixing and matching, it always helps to save space but also is really fun and makes my outfits more creative & interesting.

Thanks for exposing us to that horrible jewelry company by Karlee Dutson. I paid them for the 3 statement necklaces, and now they have no record of my payment, order # or anything despite MY Paypal showing it. Ridiculous.
