"It's Perfect"

Blouse: c/o Alainn Bella; Jacket and Purse: c/o Windsor Store; Jeans: JBrand "Kiki"' (love the black pair here); Bracelet and Ring: c/o kvbijou

A fabulous woman over the weekend told me, if it does not challenge you, it will not change you.
My new job has been challenging me, beyond what I anticipated.  Don't get me wrong.  I love my job.  There is nothing else I would want to be doing.  However, my first few weeks have pushed me harder, and demanded more from me, than anything I have previously done.  I've been working 10 to 15 hour days, sometimes without a break - Friday nights and Saturdays included.  Which explains, my lack of blogging.
My "normal" routine has just been in flux.  Actually, my life in general has been in flux.  I'm not going to lie.  There have been a couple moments this past week where I literally just curled up and cried.  I've been emotionally and physically drained, and not just because of my new job.  Change just has this funny way of spinning life around, while you're trying to find your bearings.  But that's OK.  Because I am exactly where I need to be.  I know my new job will teach me so many new skills, both personally and professionally, as well as push me creatively.  Although it is a LOT of work, I'm so excited to be a part of it.
I learned this new saying in life to get me through the moments, and that is, "It's perfect."  Sure, it's not.  But, somehow, someway, it will be.

Amen! It's very normal for the first few months of a new job to be rough, but after that, you'll be soaring high! Your readers are VERY proud of you and your accomplishments just as I know that your husband, family, and friends are too. Just know that for people like me, you are such an inspiration!

Something about change always leaves me spinning, whether its good or bad. I like my routines! At least your job is going well, but I understand that even in happiness change can be overwhelming!

As overwhelmed and stressed as you are, it's inspiring to hear your positive outlook and know that it'll all be worth it in the end. Most challenging situations are like that.. all worth it in the end. Hang in there!

Great outfit. It must be quite hard starting a new job. My husband just started one a few months ago and every 3-4 months his project changes and he has to learn something new again. I can totally relate to your stress. Keep at it, it will all work out for the best.

Agi:)
